Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions with leading multinational and Indian organizations across renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, technology, and retail, including Walmart, The Coca-Cola Company, Baxter, UPL, Ola, and Lafarge Cement.
As Group General Counsel of Suzlon Energy Limited, he leads the organization's legal, compliance, and governance functions. His expertise extends to complex commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, regulatory investigations, intellectual property matters, and cross-border disputes. He has led high-value arbitration proceedings, trademark opposition matters, and significant litigation initiatives, including a Public Interest Litigation in Australia, while overseeing legal operations across multiple countries.
Known for combining legal expertise with commercial acumen, Mr. Chowdhury helps businesses navigate complex regulatory environments while driving sustainable growth and effective risk management. Anupam is an Executive Leader, Legal and Policy, presently with Lendingkart Group as VP, Legal. He believes that with a background rich in both Engineering and Law gives him a head start not only to know the technical aspect of the business / work but also apply that scope to his legal portfolio. He sees himself as a Business Attorney and makes sure that the Company is safeguarded from a contract and compliance perspective in the ever-changing laws and regulations of the State.

Anupam is based out of Ahmedabad, India having experience in working in India and abroad (US, UK, Singapore, MEA etc.,) markets mostly as an In-house Counsel. Anupam has been instrumental in setting up legal teams in past couple of organisation from scratch and is passionate about the value-add the legal team provides to the organisation as a whole. From Employment law, compliance & corporate governance, commercial transaction, tools, to litigation, Anupam provides extensive support to business and board catering solid work ethics. He brings in experience across multiple industries such as IT/ITES, Telecom, Fin-Tech, Outsourcing, BFSI, Infra, Electronics, Manufacturing, Consumer goods etc.

In his present role at Lendingkart, Anupam heads the Legal function for both the NBFC and Technology entity and from day-to-day to special projects to Employment Law, corporate governance, privacy, litigation, M&A to advising the Board and CXO's, is keenly involved in guiding the Company to the next phase of growth driving strong values and culture.
