Anupam is an Executive Leader, Legal and Policy, presently with Lendingkart Group as VP, Legal. He believes that with a background rich in both Engineering and Law gives him a head start not only to know the technical aspect of the business / work but also apply that scope to his legal portfolio. He sees himself as a Business Attorney and makes sure that the Company is safeguarded from a contract and compliance perspective in the ever-changing laws and regulations of the State.
Anupam is based out of Ahmedabad, India having experience in working in India and abroad (US, UK, Singapore, MEA etc.,) markets mostly as an In-house Counsel. Anupam has been instrumental in setting up legal teams in past couple of organisation from scratch and is passionate about the value-add the legal team provides to the organisation as a whole. From Employment law, compliance & corporate governance, commercial transaction, tools, to litigation, Anupam provides extensive support to business and board catering solid work ethics. He brings in experience across multiple industries such as IT/ITES, Telecom, Fin-Tech, Outsourcing, BFSI, Infra, Electronics, Manufacturing, Consumer goods etc.
Anupam thrives on new challenges and opportunities and it's the guiding force that has enable him to make quite a mark not only working in different industries but to also being recognised internally and external for acting as legal wingmen for the company, first line of defence for external agencies and regulators and caretaker for implementing and updating new policies within the company. He succeeds with a "can-do" attitude and sparks the urgency of "getting the work done" within the guiding pillars of competition, ethics and integrity of the company, stakeholders and customers.
In his present role at Lendingkart, Anupam heads the Legal function for both the NBFC and Technology entity and from day-to-day to special projects to Employment Law, corporate governance, privacy, litigation, M&A to advising the Board and CXO's, is keenly involved in guiding the Company to the next phase of growth driving strong values and culture.
